Canopy – a must see
Today is the official cinema launch of Australian war film Canopy. The compelling story of an Australian fighter pilot shot down in combat who awakens suspended in the treetops of the Singapore jungle.
I had the absolute immersive pleasure of seeing the Australian Premier of Canopy at the Gold Coast Film Festival followed by a Q&A with first time feature film director Aaron Wilson. Also there where Alan Crabb, co-founder of Pozzible, the crowd funding group who helped them raise the funds to employ the sound technicians that ensure this incredible experience in cinema, and the Visual Effects team. It was a fantastic opportunity to explore the film making process of this ground breaking film.
Brisbane audiences can catch Canopy at Palace Centro this weekend. For other venues log on to www.conopythefilm.com and check it out at www.facebook.com/canopythefilm. Don’t miss it!
