John Cox's Creature Workshop

‘The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader’ was the first film to make extensive use of our CNC 5 axis router.

The VFX department required John Cox’s Creature Workshop to CNC cut a 3 piece, life sized foam version of Aslan, and a dragon head. The Art department employed the CNC router to make a scale model of the Dawn Treader, it was machined in a polyurethane tooling board. The Props department had us create a rigid copy of Lord Restimar, who is turned to gold when he goes to drink from the pool on Deathwater Island.
